Bridgin'V4

Festival of english speaking theatre

About festival

We changed the day and place, but prestigious European productions on one stage remained!

It was a struggle, but despite fate not smiling on our project (especially the grant programmes), we decided not to give up and to continue this new tradition. Because this project is worth it! 🙂

That is why we will welcome you to Vecko in Bratislava with great pleasure and a huge thank you and, we are proud to say, that the second year of the International Festival of English Speaking Theatre will host the best of the best of what´s presently being staged in HungaryCzech republic and of course Slovakia.

Full programme

There is a busy programme on both festival days. In addition to the traditional morning shows, we have also added an afternoon programme on Thursday, also dedicated to children with special needs. Good people funded their tickets via Startlab. Thank you!

During the breaks between the shows, there will be refreshments for the students as well as an interactive programme in cooperation with the student theatre ActofKAA.

Interactive workshops

We have some great news for actors who would like to try acting in English. On Friday afternoon, they will have a chance to learn from the best – Oliver Micevski, Daniel Hall and Timea Kasa who prepared an intensive and interactive workshop.

Our patron

We are very happy that patronage of the festival has once again been taken up by our good friend – well-known theatre and TV actress, Lucia Hurajová, who in addition to acting also devotes her time to theatre production.

Festival that connects

Let´s meet and speak together! Theatre and art will become our common language and it is the English language that will build those bridges for us – bridges to communication, information and culture.

We would be delighted if you were to become part of it.
